Scheduling Your Testing & Tagging

Different testing time frames and intervals apply to equipment used in different industries and in different locations. It's important to keep this in mind when scheduling your testing and tagging.

For example:

Construction site, tool testing and tagging is to be done monthly

Kitchen appliance testing and tagging may only need to be done annually.*

Whereas computer testing and tagging may only need every five years.*

*Each appliance/tool etc., needs to be seen in its location to determine the test interval as per the Australian Standard, AS/NZS 3760. Guidance to the interval can be given by us; however, it is the customer's ultimate responsibility to determine the electrical testing and tagging intervals.

We can normally offer same day service for testing and tagging within Penrith and surrounds. For construction tool tagging to be done monthly, it may be cost-effective to bring your tools to our workshop at Emu Plains.
